I like them; but what about having the bulb either a compact fluroescent or half/half? is that too messy? I guess there's not really a value judgement...we aren't promoting toxics, after all...
another thought would be an electrical cord/plug; but it's not as contained as a shape, and therefore maybe not as clear.
i think they are good, clear, and legible. the scissors seem to be the weak link to me, although i like david's suggestions about the type of bulb. i was thinking maybe something related to pencils or some silohuette related to bass wood, but i didn't really come up with anything specific. i think we also need a waste one (or thought that was one we referenced at the meeting). i have a ttached a simple one of just a trash can with stuff in it as an idea.

check (what danger dave said). The light bulb is the weak link. The others are mega, and ready to roll (what?).
